The trailer of Sajal Ali’s first Hollywood film is out
New York: Pakistani actress Sajal Ali has made her Hollywood debut with Jemima Goldsmith’s film, the trailer of which has been released.
While sharing the trailer of her film ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It?’ on social media, Hollywood producer Jemima Goldsmith wrote, “It’s better to be loved than to fall in love.” Watch the official trailer of What’s Love Got To Do With It.
This romantic film captures Pakistani and British customs. The story of the film revolves around a Pakistani and British family who are looking for a relationship. The trailer of the film shows a beautiful blend of Pakistani and British culture.
This is Sajal Ali’s first international film, which also stars Lily James, Shahzad Latif, Shabana Azmi, Asim Chaudhary and Emma Thompson in lead roles.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s ex-wife Jemima has written the film and is also its producer, while Indian director Shekhar Kapur has directed the film.
Sajal Ali’s film will hit the UK cinemas on 27th January 2023.
It should be noted that Sajal is a versatile actress who has also previously worked with Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Akshay Khanna and Sridevi in Neighbor Malik’s film ‘Moom’.
