LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has annulled the election of Hamza Shahbaz as Punjab Chief Minister

The Lahore High Court (LHC) has annulled the election of Hamza Shahbaz as Punjab Chief Minister and reinstated Usman Bazdar as acting Chief Minister. Petitions were filed against the Punjab election which were approved by the Lahore High Court. The Lahore High Court, while ruling on the petition against Hamza Shahbaz, declared his election as Punjab Chief Minister null and void. The decision was taken by a five-member larger bench headed by Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan on the appeal of PTI and others by a four-to-one majority.
