Karachi: The Sindh High Court has sought full details of the secret investigation and investigation against MQM leader Babarghuri.
During the hearing on the ongoing secret investigation and investigation against MQM leader Babarghuri in the Sindh High Court, the court sought a report from the federal and provincial governments.
The court ordered the parties to submit a written response on October 4, seeking full details of the ongoing secret inquiries and investigations against former federal minister Babarghuri. Justice KK Agha asked where the petitioner is at this time. Shabbir Shah Advocate replied that he is currently in Dubai.
The court said that Babarghuri should have appeared in court. Petitioner Sher Shah Advocate replied that Babarghuri was arrested when he reached Karachi airport.
The police declared Babarghuri innocent three days after his arrest. The court asked what do you want from this court now? Shabirshah Advocate replied that whatever secret investigation is going on against Babarghuri, details should be sought.
It should be noted that Babarghuri has taken security bond from Sindh High Court in NAB reference and money laundering case. On his return abroad, he was arrested from Karachi Airport on July 7. On his arrest, a contempt petition was filed against the police.
