Peru, van fell into a ditch, 4 tourists killed, 16 injured
Lima: 4 tourists were killed and 16 injured as a result of a van accident in the South American country of Peru.
According to a foreign news agency, a passenger van fell into a ravine near the Peruvian tourist destination of Machu Picchu, killing 4 tourists and injuring 16 others.
Among the dead tourists, 3 were Colombian and 1 was from Peru. Among the injured in the accident were 4 French, 2 Greek, 2 Israeli, 2 Canadian, 2 Argentine, 2 Peruvian, 1 Dutch and 1 Spanish.
