Karachi: Operations are underway to restore telecom sites in flood-affected areas. According to details, PTA said in its statement that more sites have been restored in the affected areas due to the efforts of telecom operators.

Another 139 sites have been restored in the last 24 hours. The PTA said that the optical fiber backhaul to provide connectivity has been fully restored, leaving only 429 sites in the flood-affected areas inactive. are

The agency said that 850 teams are working 24 hours a day to restore telecom services.

PTA said that 3386 telecom sites were affected due to floods and rains, PTA is continuously monitoring the situation, necessary instructions are being issued for recovery measures.
