Maryam Nawaz filed a passport return application
Vice President Pakistan Muslim League (N) Maryam Nawaz has again filed an application in the Lahore High Court for the return of her passport.
Muslim League (N) leader Maryam Nawaz approached the Lahore High Court for the return of her passport. It has been argued in the petition that his passport is in court custody for the last 4 years while NAB could not present the challan of Chaudhry Sugar Mill in the court.
It was argued in the petition that a person cannot be deprived of his fundamental right for a long time, the court should order the return of the passport.
It is further stated in the petition that the court has granted bail on merit. The decisions of former President Pervez Musharraf and Ayan Ali cases are a precedent for this. The court is requested to issue orders to return the passport.
