Forest fires near Moscow are out of control

Moscow: A forest fire has become uncontrollable in Ryazan, the eastern region of Moscow, the capital of Russia. After the fire spread to 20,000 acres, a state of emergency was imposed in the region.

According to the foreign news agency, the administration urged the citizens of Moscow to wear masks to protect themselves from the smog and burning smell created by forest fires.

Authorities said people should limit outdoor activities and use as much water as possible to neutralize the effects of smog caused by the fires. Visibility is also affected by the smoke produced by the fire.
