China to step up efforts to promote trade in agricultural services
BEIJING: China has announced to step up efforts to promote trade in agricultural services.
Ma Yuxiang, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, speaking at a forum on the occasion of China International Fairtrade in Services 2022, said that trade in agricultural services refers to cross-border trade in the sale or purchase of agricultural services.
Mayo said more efforts are needed to promote trade in services in the agricultural sector to address challenges in global food security, increase productivity of the agricultural industry and streamline supply chains.
He said that efforts were made to develop fair, transparent and reasonable rules related to trade in agricultural services and to improve the quality of trade through innovation.
