150 villages under water after installation of 2 more cuts in Manchhar lake, threat to Sehun city remains
Sehun: Two more places have been barricaded to reduce the water pressure in Manchhar Lake, which has flooded the Sehun Airport. The water level has not yet receded due to which the danger to Sehun city and Saeedabad remains.
The water coming out of the lake has started hitting the Indus Highway near the Sehun Toll Plaza, the Sehun Airport has also been submerged and the Sindh Chief Minister’s native village Bajara has also been submerged.
According to the district administration, water is continuing to flow from Manchhar Lake Dam RD 54 and 52, the water has entered the boundaries of the five Union Councils, Union Council Bobak and Jaffarabad are completely under water, the number of affected villages has reached 150.
The irrigation department says that the water level in Manchhar Lake has not decreased, after the lack of water in Larkana Sehun Dam, the water of Manchhar Lake will be given way by installing a cut.
Meanwhile, a 50-feet wide crack has occurred at the zero point of Manchhar Jheel, due to the crack, the water has started moving towards the Union Council Wahar, 2 policemen on the embankment were washed away, local people are trying to save the policemen.

On the other hand, after 6 days, the Paran river of Badin burst again, the water level in 30 submerged villages increased further, people’s homes, valuable goods, crops were all destroyed, people left the remaining goods on the roofs and moved to a safe place.
